It was my next door neighbor and one of my best friends, Nicolette, that opened the door to the strange world of dark bubblegum pop movies of the 90’s and early 00’s. Watching Jawbreaker, Josie and the Pussycats, Scream, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the list goes on- and becoming obsessed with the dark reality of toxic evil popular girls.

That is the base of my personality and remains that way to this day. It’s the start of my art journey. Wanting to create worlds and characters like those I saw on the glow of the tv that Nicolette and I shamelessly sat in front of drinking in the bright pop of colors swirling with images of blood and guts.

Which brings me to this website. It’s been many years in the making. Anxiety and alcoholism holding me back from pursing putting my art out into the world and even more scary- putting it for sale for the public to look at and… buy!

But here I am. Teen Idle Design. My heart and soul and the need for cool merch for niche pop culture references that only a handful of people get. But by god we did it.

I hope you all enjoy my art, the fashion I create and whatever is next to come.
